Well I was hoping to check this off from my
"to do craft list".
It was supposed to be a new shoulder strap
for my diaper bag.
But instead it FAILED!
For some reason it wasn't working out and was making me frustrated.
And a fussy toddler doesn't help either.
But she was happy when I finally let her just play with it.
Yep anything pink and frilly would make any girl happy!
I'll just have to revisit this project later since my diaper bag still needs a strap.
If it made your cranky toddler happy, then it couldn't have been a craft fail. Maybe just a modification.

Try an old leather belt as a strap! Take a trip to your local thrift store or just into your own closet.
ReplyDeleteAs to if you would keep or discard the buckle, what method you might use to affix it to the bag...I think those details would depend on the individual & the belt in question.
