It could be a shoe organizer or it could be
used for whatever
(this little picture on it has gift wrap supplies in it).
Shoe organizers are so nice. Doesn't have to be for shoes only.
Their possibilities are endless...
So I thought this would be perfect to use in my car! So many things you have to pack around when you have little ones.
I've been looking around for something to organize my car but haven't found anything that I liked unless I wanted to spend $25 or more.
I thought this will do fine for now.
I did want to add some embellishments but since this one will go in hubby's car
he vetoed on making it cutsie.
Oh well at least my wipes are cute ;) !

I LOVE this! My car is a disaster area. Between a baby and a dog, it's hard to keep it clean and organized. This is an awesome idea! I may even make two--one for Emma and one for Max's fetch toys. ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the awesome tip!
This is a great idea. I will have to go and look for one myself.
ReplyDeleteSam
Perfect! Looks great. I'm used to seeing the full length (door size) shoe organizers.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking this up to my Organizing Mission link party.
I did think that most shoe organizers are too long. And short ones may be hard to find. I wonder if you could trim one down then rehem it? I'll have to see. I still want to do once for my car and embellish it. I'll revisit this post when I do so.
ReplyDeleteI ♥ this idea! Cheap, organized, easy. And I get to do more wipe covers. Yay! ;)
ReplyDeletethis rocks my socks off! my car doesn't have back seat pockets and this is such a good idea! Thank you so much!

Great idea~
ReplyDeleteI just started a linky party this past Tuesday. It was a great success with over 50 link ups! I would love it if you would participate next week! It's called $10 Tuesdays and it's for things that cost less than $10 and take 20-30 mins (ish) to complete. I love inexpensive and quick projects and I'm guessing others will too ;) Thanks so much for considering.

Awesome find! Saw this on Pinterest and am loving that it came from the dollar store! Getting 2 of these for our upcoming 8hr drive to the beach!
ReplyDeletethis idea is great, I found one at my local dollar store and it was just the ticket to hang up our Wii accessories. We have a tv armoir and put it on the outside front of the doors ( we don't close them). They all fit great, thanks for the idea:)
ReplyDeleteOh my!! What a super great idea!! I am soooo doing this for the new boyfriend that has a son.
ReplyDeleteWow, this is great! I just have one question. Does the organizer lay flat against the seat? I had an organizer for my car & I had to take it out because it hung away from the seat back. My girls were constantly knocking it loose. I could really use one is my van!
ReplyDeleteCori
ReplyDeleteIt sticks out just a little in my car depending how the seat is leaning. I wondered this too. One solution you could use velcro on the back.
Gotta tell everybody that I love this in my car. Already used a few times for wiping a sticky mess, when I needed sunscreen unexpectedly, or forgot to refill my diaper bag with some diapers.
Total lifesaver!
I linked to your tutorial on my blog:

I wish I would have made my car organizer sooner (still need to). I don't carry my diaper bag with me when I drop my son off at day care but thanks to having to pick him up unexpectedly (something my hubby does), I had no diapers with me when I took him to the pediatrician. I need to do this ASAP!
I'm linking this to a blog post! Love it. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat idea. I might just have to do this.
ReplyDeletejust wanted to say that sunscreen is degraded by heat/sunlight, so keeping sunsreen in hot car may not be best idea as it will reduce its efficacy.
ReplyDeleteLess hustle travel and less annoying stuffs around you. That was the benefit of having an organizer inside your car.
ReplyDeleteIs this from dollar tree or another dollar store? Love it but can't find it this small
ReplyDeleteI love this!!!! But I can't find them anywhere. I've been to six dollar trees. Ugh!!!
ReplyDeleteWhether you do it yourself or take your car to a professional shop to be detailed, having the car clean, shiny, and smelling great will go a long way to lifting your spirits and giving you incentive to organize your car and keep it that way.
ReplyDeleteLove this idea and your blog!
